Peas 1/4 cup
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Paprika 1 tsp

Instructions:

  1. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes or until softened.
  3. Add the red bell pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes or until softened.
  4. Add the rice and stir to coat the rice in the oil.
  5. Add the paprika, saffron threads, and white wine, and stir until the wine is absorbed.
  6. Slowly add the broth, a cup at a time, stirring constantly until the liquid is absorbed before adding the next cup.
  7. Add the peas and stir
  8. Turn the heat to low and cover the pan with a lid.
  9. Cook for 18-20 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
  10. Stir in the prawns and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the prawns are pink and cooked through.
  11. Serve the paella in bowls with lemon wedges on the side.
